Job Description The Structural Engineer is responsible for assisting with a variety of Structural projects focused in both rural and urban Alaska. Responsibilities Use computer aided design technology for simulation purposes. Master CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, RISA 3D) for design and simulation. Familiarity with structural analysis tools. Prepare reports, designs and drawings. Make structural calculations about pressures, loads and stresses. It is expected for you to strengthen your ability to calculate pressures, loads, and stresses. Practice with real-world scenarios, especially for extreme conditions like Alaska's climate (e.g., permafrost, seismic activity) while in this position.
