Job Description
Structural Designer- Offshore
Key Responsibilities
Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for structures including foundations, helidecks, and living quarters using AutoCAD, PDMS, or TEKLA.
Check designs for quality, safety, accessibility, and compliance with project standards and codes.
Create material take-offs (MTOs), review vendor drawings, and coordinate with teams across locations.
Qualifications
Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Draftsmanship; 5-7 years in offshore/oil & gas design.
Proficient in AutoCAD (2D), TEKLA for 3D modeling.
Knowledge of industry standards like API and AISC for offshore facilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience managing drawing lists and project closeouts.
Ability to optimize designs for cost and schedule.
Familiarity with HSES policies and multi-project coordination.
Location & Type
Full-time position in Chennai, India, supporting offshore engineering projects.
