System One is currently seeking a Structural Designer on a 3 year contract position located in Birmingham, AL.
Structural Designer Responsibilities:
Support the Civil/Structural Engineering group. Daily tasks may include but are not limited to collecting laser scans, performing inspections of various structures, writing reports, working with the engineering teams to ensure company structural assets remain operational and safe, and 3D modeling and 2D drawing extraction. Laser scan data collection and registration using tripod mounted laser scanner to support structural and design staff.
