A leading structural design and manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Design Engineer with a strong background in general construction and structural steel. This role involves working on complex platform floors, access walkways, and associated ancillary structures.

A leading structural design and manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Design Engineer with a strong background in general construction and structural steel. This role involves working on complex platform floors, access walkways, and associated ancillary structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake structural design using software such as Tekla Structural Designer or similar.
- Perform hand calculations with a solid grasp of engineering theory.
- Apply logical engineering judgment beyond software reliance to solve problems and develop practical, economical solutions.
- Interpret and apply current codes of practice for steelwork design and manufacture.
- Develop conceptual sketches through to detailed designs using AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla Structures
