Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Stripe expert to analyze and optimize our current Stripe setup in order to legally reduce transaction fees and improve overall payment efficiency.
Our business processes online payments (WordPress / WooCommerce environment). We want a full audit and strategic optimization of our Stripe configuration, payment flows, and cost structure.
Scope of Work
1. Stripe Account Audit
Review current Stripe fee structure (domestic, international, currency conversion, refunds, disputes).
Analyze transaction breakdown (cards, wallets, recurring, cross-border, etc.).
Identify where unnecessary fees are being generated.
2. Fee Optimization Strategy
Optimize:
Payment methods (cards vs wallets vs local methods)
Cross-border and currency settings
Settlement currency strategy
Smart routing (if applicable)
Recommend country-based optimizations.
Evaluate possibility of volume-based pricing negotiation with Stripe.
