Job Description: Strip and Assembler

Core Responsibilities

• Dismantle vehicle or machinery components (doors, panels, trims, bumpers, lights, mirrors, etc.) prior to repair or spray painting.
• Label and store removed parts safely to prevent damage or loss.
• Reassemble components after painting or repair, ensuring correct alignment and fit.
• Inspect parts for wear, damage, or defects during stripping and report findings.
• Replace damaged or worn components with new parts when required.
• Work closely with spray painters, panel beaters, and mechanics to coordinate workflow.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Skills & Competencies

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools.
• Knowledge of vehicle structures and assembly methods.
• Attention to detail for proper alignment and fitting.
