Description

Development of engineering stress and substantiation data within budget in accordance with FAA, customer and corporate standards of quality.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Have advanced/expert knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s), Airworthiness Directives (AD’s), Alternate Means of Compliance (AMOC) and related regulatory requirements and processes. Will be able to direct and mentor junior engineers with understanding regulations and directives. 
  • Have advanced/expert knowledge of aircraft design concepts and industry design standards consistent with company workload environment. Will be able to direct and mentor junior engineers with design concepts and industry design standards. 
  • Independently analyze structural engineering data produced by other engineering groups to ensure it meets the structural requirements for FAA certification. Will be able to direct and mentor ...
