Position: Stores Truck Driver (Patterson BU X 1)

Purpose

To support the Stores Logistics operations by undertaking tasks required to ensure optimal operations.

Main Outputs and Responsibilities

• Transport a variety of bulky consignment equipment to and from retail and distribution centres.
• Conduct daily inspections of the truck and all mobile equipment to ensure they remain safe and fit for use at all times.
• Maintain daily truck inspection records.
• Assist Mine Operations with transportation duties as required.
• Operate multi-gear transmission vehicles safely, taking into consideration vehicle size and cargo.
• Transport cargo by truck, including truck-and-trailer combinations where required.
• Connect and disconnect cabs from trailers and perform basic repairs, including changing tyres.
