The role of a Stores Operative will include:
- Keep the goods‑in/out area organised, tidy, and running smoothly
- Handle all goods-in to the building, conducting inspections where required
- Pack products according to the packing specification ensuring any relevant paperwork is updated to maintain good product traceability
- Support the development of new packing specifications and pack parts without a specification appropriately to ensure they make it to their destination without damage.
- Arrange shipments, including preparing necessary paperwork, delivery notes and labelling
- Monitor and maintain the inventory in the goods-out area ensuring continuous available stock of appropriate packing materials
- Communicate the status of shipments effectively with stakeholders at all levels across operations and engineering
