Stores Administrator (Engineering)

Scope of Role

Avondale Foods is a leading food processing company of Fresh and Chilled products supplying leading retail businesses such as Marks & Spencer, and Morrisons and Waitrose in the UK.

The Engineering/Maintenance Department provides a Reactive Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Worklist, Site Services Management and Project delivery resource to the business.

This role contributes to the management and purchasing of engineering stock items.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchasing engineering parts/spares within an agreed budget and timeframe.
• Sourcing components and implementing cost savings.
• Monitoring and controlling stock levels.
• Maintaining stores to the agreed standards and managing the changeover from current Kanban stock system to a new D365 system.
• Assist in identifying critical spares and arranging stock controls
• Preparing PPM kits.
