About the role

You will lead a Co‑op store, driving commercial performance and building a strong, inclusive team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Your key focus is to support local communities, grow Co‑op membership and services, and make a real impact in the area you serve.

• Lead, coach and develop your store team to deliver excellent service and embody the Co‑op difference.
• Foster an inclusive, high‑performing culture where colleagues feel valued and confident to speak up.
• Own the store’s commercial performance, using insights to drive sales and improve results.
• Ensure the store is safe, legal and runs smoothly at all times.
• Recruit, develop and support staff, taking responsibility for HR processes and people‑management decisions.
