Stock Controller

About the Role

A vacancy exists for a Stock Controller at Life Brooklyn Day Hospital , reporting to the Nursing Standards Manager. The successful candidate will contribute to the effective management of stock in Theatre and the Ward. The successful incumbent will be dynamic, team- and service-oriented and have a passion for stock management.

Critical Outputs

• Take full responsibility for all aspects of stock control in the hospital
• Ordering and management of Ethical / Surgical stock according to the needs of the units
• Assist with managing Unrecorded Liabilities, MIR6 and GRIR reports as appropriate
• Responsibility to ensure cycle counts in all units are planned, captured and variances are investigated and signed off on a monthly basis
• Receiving, checking and unpacking stock whilst checking orders against invoices
• Responsible for maintaining stock and dead stock as per the agreed levels
