Stock controller

Overview

The role of Stock Controller is a newly created one with the main objective being to operate as a key link between Purchasing, Operations and Warehouse functions. This role will involve monitoring stock levels, movements, locations and a strategic use of space and processes. The aim of the role is to continually reduce the number of stock losses, write offs and customer/supplier stock queries year on year. The individual will need to be able to work independently and be self-motivated. They should also possess strong problem-solving skills and have a keen eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities Compare items received against items ordered and ensure incoming stock is receipted and managed appropriately. Carry out periodic reviews of outgoing orders to ensure accuracy of shipments and respective stock records. Ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are investigated, addressed, and resolved.
