Job Scope

Stewarding dishwashing involves cleaning dishes, cutlery, and kitchen equipment to maintain hygiene, organization, and smooth operations within a commercial kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Cleanliness: Clear garbage bins in kitchens, stewarding areas, and corridors.

Replace liners as needed, and empty and rinse bins thoroughly using a micro-gun.

  • Storeroom Organization: Keep the storeroom neat, tidy, and well-arranged at all times.
  • Polishing & Care: Clean and polish silverware, copper, and stainless-steel items, ensuring they are returned to their designated storage areas after use.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the polishing machine and deoxidizing bath in good working condition.
  • Reporting: Return all damaged items and promptly report any missing articles to your supervisor.
