Job Description
Support exceptional kitchen operations at Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa in the role of Steward. This position focuses on maintaining sanitation and performing basic food tasks in a fine dining environment.
The Steward will ensure the kitchen remains clean and organized, cleaning dishes, surfaces, and equipment while assisting with food prep. This role requires stamina to stand for shifts, teamwork in a busy kitchen, and the ability to lift substantial weight. Your effective communication will facilitate smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize kitchen workspaces regularly
• Operate dishwashers efficiently for all dishware
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen floors
• Prepare vegetables and assist in kitchen tasks
• Manage trash removal and recycling duties
Requirements:
• Some high school education preferred
• WHMIS and CPR training advised
• Experience with dishwashing tools is beneficial
