Job Description
Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Sterile Processing Technologist for their Grand Junction, CO location. Responsibilities:
+ Maintain and distribute designated supplies to assigned areas.
+ Ensure all equipment and instruments are available and ready for each surgical case.
+ Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments in accordance with AMMI recommended practices.
+ Complete and verify accuracy of instrument count sheets.
+ Assist OR staff in locating and preparing instruments as needed.
+ Maintain permanent sterilization records for Surgery and other departments per regulatory standards.
+ Reestablish a clean and safe environment post-procedure, including room and equipment turnover.
+ Prepare and maintain surgical supplies and specialty equipment (e.g., laryngoscope blades, tubing, filters, ultrasound, fluid/blood warmers, specialty pumps, etc.).
