Sterile Processing Technologist


HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Sterile Processing Technologist to fill an opening in Houston, Texas. 



Daily Responsibilities for Sterile Processing Technologist:
  • • Demonstrates adherence to AAMI ST 79 and AORN guidelines for proper processing and sterilization of surgical instruments/equipment according to manufacturers instructions for use
  • Knowledgeable of principles of aseptic techniques and universal precaution.
  • Correctly handles instruments to prevent injury to self or others, to maintain proper working order.
  • Monday - Friday, various start times based on the needs of the department.

    • Required Qualifications for Sterile Processing Technologist:
  • CSPD technician certification
  • High School Diploma
  • Graduate of an accredited central sterile processing tech program
