Ensure the organization has accurate and reliable quantity and cost estimates for reinforcing steel, enabling competitive proposals, reducing financial risks, and supporting proper project planning and execution.

• Calculate quantities of reinforcing bars and accessories from 2D drawings, 3D/BIM models, and design specifications.
• Estimate weights, lengths, splices, laps, hooks, supports, and waste factors in compliance with ACI, ASTM, and project requirements.
• Develop detailed internal cost estimates, including materials, fabrication, transportation, installation labor, and contingencies.
• Communicate with clients or general contractors to confirm scope, clarifications, and exclusions, issuing RFIs as needed.
• Conduct peer reviews to verify the accuracy, consistency, and quality of estimates.
