Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware. Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and other buildings. May prepare cost estimates for clients. Supervise other construction workers.
