Standardized Patient

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

This role reports to the Divisional Business Manager.

SUMMARY

The Standardized Patient participates in filmed roleplays between students and patients for the purpose of performance-based feedback in the Professional Communication for Internationally Trained Nurses course. This role involves portraying a female patient character in later adulthood for clinical training scenarios.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Standardized Patient (SP) learns and prepares specific patient roles ahead of filmed roleplays with students
• The Standardized Patient (SP) acts as a patient in filmed roleplays with students

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of two years' experience working as a Standardized Patient
