About our Client
Our client is a well recognized retail company, looking for an experienced payroll officer to join theit team. The ideal candidate will need experience with end to end payroll preferrably having worked in a standalone role previously This role is based in the CBD with hybrid working arrangements available. 

Job Details
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working autonomously in the payroll space, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing a payroll of approx. 250 full time, part time and casual staff
  • New starters and terminations
  • Retail and clerical award interpretation
  • Processing annual leave, sick leave and adjustments
  • Monthly payroll reconcilaitons including payroll journals and GL reconciliations
  • Handling payroll queries
  • Other ad hoc duties
