Staff Podiatrist

We are looking for a Staff Podiatrist to be a member of the Podiatric Surgery Team, providing a high standard of clinical care, perioperative assessment, contribution to development of surgical care plans, administration of advanced regional anaesthesia, including ankle and popliteal blocks. Assist in the preparation and peri-operative care of surgical patients.

Main duties of the job

Requesting diagnostic tests such as bloods and diagnostic imaging. Undertaking cardio-vascular and lower limb vascular assessment, using Doppler, ABPI, TBPI and neurological assessment.

To undertake patient care during surgery, this includes: a. Lead on collection and administration of audit including PASCOMb. Administering advanced local anaesthetic injections including digital, ankle and popliteal regional blocks. c.
