STAFF NURSE

JOB SUMMARY

Plays a central role in providing nursing care to residents in nursing home. Supports the Nurse Managers & Director (Nursing) in daily operations of the Ward. Responsible for providing nursing care and management to residents.

JOB SCOPE

CLINICAL, TRAINING, QUALITY AND RESIDENTS' SAFETY

• Comply with approved standards of nursing practices.

• Provide nursing services requiring substantial and specialised nursing skills.

• Work closely with the resident's doctor and the multi-disciplinary team to provide care to the residents update on changes in the residents' conditions and needs.

• Ensure care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan.

• Evaluate resident's response to care interventions on a regular basis and recommend revision of care plans as necessary.
