The Oracle Database Operations Analyst ensures high performance, security, and scalability of Oracle solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade systems. This role often combines elements of database administration, performance analysis, and operational support.
Provide support to application developers and other stakeholders regarding database access and performance
Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of Oracle applications
Ensure compliance with security standards and data governance policies
Document technical specifications, workflows, and system configurations
Support migration projects, including upgrades to Oracle Cloud or newer versions.
Provide production support and resolve incidents within SLA timelines
Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve database-related issues
