About the Role

Hi I’m Abhik, Ashby’s Co-Founder and VP of Engineering. This role is close to my heart because it combines the design and coding disciplines that have always defined my work. Design Engineering is a formal department that works closely with me to create a product that meets the needs of over 100,000 weekly active users and millions of candidates per week.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features, balancing visual excellence with technical feasibility.
• Redesign and iterate on the mobile web app, creating wireframes, refining flows, and delivering polished UI through our design system.
• Build adaptable, composable component libraries for the design system that enable consistent UI across product wizard flows.
• Collaborate with product engineers to improve information hierarchy, scannability, and overall user experience for recruiters and hiring managers.
