Staff Accountant

Job Description

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial and management reporting in a project-based environment. This position will have an in-depth understanding of the ERP system and its interdependencies between modules. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, analyzing project results, preparing reconciliations and financial reports, completing month-end close processes and ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, tax regulations and accounting standards. The position plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze, and validate financial and operational data from the ERP systems and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Oracle accounting modules.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations and support month-end/ year-end closing processes.
