Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented entry-level Accountant to join a finance team in New York. This position supports daily accounting operations by helping maintain accurate financial records, assisting with period-end activities, and contributing to reporting and compliance efforts. The role is well suited to someone early in their accounting career who is analytical, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:
• Record banking activity and complete timely reconciliations to verify accuracy across cash accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes through journal entry preparation, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation.
