Stable Manager and Director, Equine and Staff Operations

Responsibilities

• Managing and training barn staff and tack up staff;
• Managing horse welfare and fitness program;
• Competition specific preparation of horses;
• Horse show entries and horse show daily management;
• Developing training programs;
• Providing care to horses both at home and on competition grounds;
• Manage scheduling of farrier, veterinary, and any follow up care prescribed;
• Formulate inventory management programs including implementation of appropriate technology to help support new programs;
• Manage orders from, and all vendors for feed supply, hay supply, barn supplies;
• Manage all indoor arena and outdoor arena maintenance;
• Manage all staff recruitment, hiring, retention, and scheduling;
• Formulate feeding programs;
