Responsibilities

Performance Test Planning & Strategy

  • Analyze non-functional requirements (NFRs) and define performance test objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive performance test strategies, plans, scenarios, and scripts.
  • Identify and document performance bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities.

    • Test Design & Execution

  • Develop and execute load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability tests.
  • Create performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling, etc.
  • Simulate production-scale workloads and analyze application behaviour under various conditions.

    • Monitoring & Analysis

  • Use APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Kibana) to monitor:CPUMemoryResponse timesError ratesThroughputDatabase performanceNetwork bottlenecks
