Product Engineering Technical Program Manager( PE TPM) works closely with teams located in both US and China throughout the design cycle. TPM is responsible for driving Mechanical supplier facing cross-functional teams and supply base to achieve the project goals. This role is the focal point of contact in China for all Mechanical activities. TPM needs close communication and teamwork with the US based teams such as Product Design, PD EPM, System EPM, ID etc., to ensure the projects are progressing according to schedule.
TPM is responsible for closely monitoring and driving China side activities including DFM, tooling release, process qualification, and material preparation for builds. Working closely with the Mechanical Process Engineer (MPE), Tooling Engineer (TE), Global Commodity Manager (GCM), Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) and Reliability Engineer (REL).
