The local Supplier Quality Engineers must ensure, for one or more dedicated commodities, the adequate quality of the products and services delivered to their plant, will theretofore execute supplier development (typical preventive measures) and the supplier quality activities (typical operational and corrective of nature) related to the suppliers in their commodity. The local Supplier Quality Engineers should look out for potential cost out opportunities, where applicable.Supplier readness during gate reviews.
