Sr. Geotechnical Engineer (Northeast Calgary)

Overview

Senior Geotechnical Engineer, focused on large-scale, world-class projects across geotechnical design, construction and operations in infrastructure, mining, and oil sands. This role involves water resources projects including storm ponds and water dams, tailings containment dams, roads, railways, and heavy civil infrastructure. Based in Calgary with opportunities to contribute to the growth of the Infrastructure team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and work on projects involving terrain analysis, site investigations, instrumentation installation and monitoring, geohazard risk assessment and control, geo-structure and foundation (deep and shallow) design for facilities, retaining structures and bridges, construction management, and review, design, construction and remediation of water retention facilities.
• Build and develop client relationships.
• Develop project management skills by leading design and construction projects.
