OVERVIEW: 

The Senior Fuel Handling System Design Engineer will focus on designing mechanical fuel handling and process systems for equipment operating within a reactor vessel. The role involves collaboration with engineers across systems, contributing to advanced nuclear reactor projects as part of a high-performing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design nuclear in-vessel fuel handling systems from requirements to final design.
  • Manage Systems, Structures, and Component (SSC) requirements, ensuring traceability and configuration control.
  • Apply appropriate design codes (e.g., ASME, ANS, ASTM) to plant system designs.
