Position Title:SeniorEstimator

Position Reports To:Regional Manager, Central Estimating

Position Summary

SeniorEstimators are responsible for all aspects of bidding a projectincludinglabor,timeand materials requirementstodetermine overall cost of projects. This role is responsible for increasing profitability through comprehensive cost estimating.

Essential Functions

Interpretsand analyzescontract documents regarding terms, specifications,clarifications,and requirements for each project and prepare estimates and bid proposals.

Estimatesmajority of the work applicable to the respective region or business line, including, target projects and owners list, and managing bid flow.

Readsand interpretssophisticated specs and drawings.

Usesformulas and making calculations.

Preparesrelevant and reliable forecasts.

Createsand presentsreports to upper management.
