The Maps Search team powers location search and discovery across Uber's ecosystem - enabling pickup and dropoff location search & recommendations for Rides, Eats and other lines of business. This is a full-stack, high-impact team building cutting-edge ML models for retrieval and ranking, planet-scale distributed systems operating at ultra-low latency, and seamless mobile experiences that define how users discover places and interact with the map. Search is a mission-critical surface that directly impacts conversion, reliability, and consumer growth.
