Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer. In this role operates in a BAU and solutioning capacity within an agile environment, running standard stand‑ups and managing both project work and operational tickets through Jira using a round‑robin assignment model. The engineer works broadly across the data and cloud ecosystem, collaborating closely with data application product teams while gaining exposure to all tools and platforms, and participating in a monthly on‑call rotation. Key responsibilities include leading large‑scale migrations from mainframe and on‑prem data centers to the cloud, supporting Guidewire policy, claims, and billing platforms, and executing heavy lift‑and‑shift decommissioning efforts. The role involves standing up cloud infrastructure, managing access control, modernizing end‑of‑life BAU workloads built in Python, Node.js, and AWS Lambda, and supporting advanced analytics and ML use cases using tools such as Snowflake, Postg...
