The Global Tax Product Team manages global applications for tax determination and tax reporting services. Tax determination services are called by various transactional systems to determine the tax that must be paid for a transaction. Tax reporting creates mandatory reports that must be sent to tax authorities in various countries. The team supports cloud services: Vertex O’Series on Demand for tax determination and Vertex TPE for reporting (Tax Data Hub). Informatica and other middleware are used to manage the interfaces of legacy Ford systems to the cloud services. The team is very closely working with the tax systems experts in the office of tax council (OTC) to support the requirements of our global customers, both for existing applications and services, as well as for new projects (. Aurora rollout, IERP).
