Sr. Cost Controller

We are seeking an experienced Cost Control professional for a well established owner mining client of ours. The position can be worked on a rotational set up out of the Vancouver area or can be based permanently in the Cariboo region on BC. Reporting to the Group Controller, the Cost Controller is responsible for accurate and efficient accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting for the Company in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards. He or she will work collaboratively with the finance team in implementing new financial accounting and reporting standards, prepare accounting policies and technical accounting memos, prepare supporting schedules for complex accounting and external reporting purposes; implement reporting and SOX best practices and ensure compliance.
