Coordinate procurement and distribution of tools, equipment, consumables, and miscellaneous supplies for the facility.
**Specific duties include**:PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES- Maintains accurate inventory of all standard tooling used in the manufacturing and assures timely replenishments to avoid shortages.
- With assistance from engineering, determines tooling requirements for all non-standard and development jobs.
- Consults catalogues and corresponds with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.
- Completes purchase requisitions, obtains signatures as appropriate, and assigns purchase order numbers.
- Enters purchase orders into computer system and distributes output to appropriate departments.
- Manages purchase order file to include records of items purchased with prices, deliveries, and inventories.
- Uses KBM system to issue purchase orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents.
