Sr. Assembly & Test Planner

We have an immediate need for an Assembly and Test Planner to join our Assembly and Test Department at Raytheon ELCAN. In this role you will play a key part in defining, implementing and maintaining the assembly and test processes required to meet world‑class optical product capabilities. The position is located in Midland, Ontario.

What You Will Do

• Read and interpret technical data packages, specifications, models and drawings for optical assemblies.
• Perform optical system testing (MTF, line of sight, transmission, encircled energy, etc.).
• Conduct cost estimating, including process times, materials and engineering effort to meet customer requirements.
• Define, design, source and commission fixtures, tools and equipment to realize product assembly and test specifications.
• Produce detailed documentation of assembly processes and train operators on new projects.
