Conceive and write detailed software implementations while ensuring code and configurations meet security, logging, error‑handling, performance, and other non‑functional standards. Write, configure, and integrate code to create software that aligns with requirements, architecture patterns, and technology standards. Decompose business requirements and translate them into detailed design specifications and code. Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using COBOL and AS400 CLP. Assess the impact of design decisions on performance, schedule, budget, downstream components and services, and recommend alternative solutions when needed. Analyze and optimize application systems; monitor, track, and enhance performance and address maintenance issues.
