Purpose of the Job
Responsible for assessing material and component requirements as required by Operations and MRP Need Date.Review of Engineering Change Notices, understand the effect of changes to the supply of purchased parts. Request quotations for parts affected with Change Notices and interpret any price changes relating to the difference from previous revisions.Process data change requests and forms in the system including but not limited to Winshuttle Process, lead time review, MRP Controller set-up, transport lead times, and requesting cost roll.Expedite, align and negotiate material and component delivery dates to support operations need dates.Communicate potential risks at the earliest possible time and recommend mitigating activities to support alignment to material need date.Create and review Action Requests (Ars) assigned to Supply Chain and process accordingly.
