**Overall Job Summary**
This position is responsible for applying accounting techniques and complex practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions in support of a complete and accurate financial close cycle. Work will specifically be focused on being the subject matter expert in accounting for gift cards and loyalty programs.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)**
+ Prepare complex journal entries according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or other regulatory requirements and prepare key financial monthly closing reports.
+ Analyze and review financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts, such as general ledger accounts, income statements and balance sheets, to prepare detailed account reconciliations and to identify unusual trends or variances.
