Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support key accounting operations for a manufacturing organization in Auburn, Maine. This is a Contract position suited for an organized individual who can manage core financial activities with accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate will contribute to timely period-end reporting, maintain ledger integrity, and help ensure reconciliations are completed thoroughly.
Responsibilities:
• Lead assigned close-cycle accounting tasks to help deliver accurate month-end financial results on schedule.
• Prepare and record journal entries with appropriate support, ensuring transactions are classified correctly in the financial records.
• Maintain and review general ledger activity to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and preserve reporting accuracy.
