Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for supplier selection, qualification, development, and management processes to achieve the expected level of purchasing quality, cost and service. The SQM ensures that suppliers are capable and complying with KONE’s quality and sustainability requirements. SQM effectively applies supplier quality management processes, tools, and resources to drive KONE Supplier Excellence.

Responsibilities and key activities:

  • Leads and manages the Escalator Structure and Visual tribe SQM work in China.
  • Represents China Regional SQM in Structure and Visual tribe.
  • Develops, communicates and ensures execution of SQM initiatives within the region in alignment with the regional tribe plan.
  • Ensure execution of KONE purchasing and supplier quality management strategy and targets in the region.
