Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will join an existing team to support the management and optimisation of clients' database environments.

What is involved:

  • Manage and maintain on-prem SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and backups.
  • Work with supporting technologies such as storage, Active Directory, Always On, and Failover Clustering.
  • Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and SQL scripting.
  • Handle incident, problem, and event management to minimise downtime and ensure fast resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and produce clear documentation.
