About the job SQL Database Administrator

• Experience as a MS SQL Server database administrator.
• Expertise with performance Tuning and T-SQL Optimisation.
• Experience with busy databases handling large volumes of transactions per day.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders up to C-level
• A natural problem solver with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
• Experience of decision making in a pressurised environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• University degree or equivalent from a knowledge & experience perspective

Nice to have:

• Experience in Microsoft Azure would be considered a strong asset
• Experience with any of the following considered an asset; Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, MongoDB, MySQL, Terraform, Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage
