Position Summary
The Spot Yard Dog / Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility and move trailers in the yard. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow by ensuring timely delivery of materials to production lines and managing trailer and container positioning within the yard.
Key Responsibilities
+ Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts to move materials, pallets, and products throughout the facility and move trailers in the yard
+ Spot, hook, and position trailers and containers within the yard using a yard truck (hostler/spotter)
+ Load and unload trailers, railcars, and containers as directed
+ Transport raw materials to production lines and move finished goods to designated storage or staging areas
+ Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any damag...
