Job Summary

Social Program Officer R24 – Probation Officer position with Terrace Community Corrections. The role involves working directly with adults under community supervision to address risks and needs, support positive changes, and facilitate fair and inclusive justice outcomes by building connections with clients, courts, community partners, and diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and collaboratively with local RCMP, Crown Counsel, Indigenous Justice Partners, and other community staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with adult clients, courts, and community partners.
• Provide support and interventions to individuals with complex social, health or legal needs, including those involved with intimate partner or sexual offense cases.
• Participate in and successfully complete position training requirements.
