Job Summary:

The Splicer is responsible for performing cable splicing, termination, and testing activities to ensure proper installation, connectivity, and functionality of network or electrical systems. The role involves hands‑on work in the field, ensuring high‑quality workmanship and adherence to safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform splicing, termination, and testing of cables (fiber optic, copper, or power).
• Conduct fusion and mechanical splicing with precision to minimize signal or power loss.
• Install, maintain, and repair cables, joints, closures, and enclosures .
• Perform OTDR, power meter, and continuity testing to verify splice quality.
• Read and interpret cable layouts, blueprints, and work orders .
